  • Leírás: Five women, Anna-Maria Karamani, a teacher of Greek; Eva Manola, an ex-singer of the light repertoire; Ritsa Melissinou, a bank clerk; Lia Hatzi, a hairdresser; and Elektra Petridi, a dentist, are married to men of some stature in their small town. A sixth woman, Kyriaki Koutra, is a rich widow. The six women get together regularly at Lia’s hair salon to exchange gossip and do “girl-things”. But one day they decide to play cards at Anna-Maria’s apartment, where all sexual hell breaks loose. A private investigator, Lampros Lamprou, posing as an electrician, installs a camera in the chandelier, which captures really wild scenes. In order to blackmail Karamanis, who is the local “media-shark”, he decides to show some of the spicier moments he has on film. So, when Karamanis throws a high society party for the launching of his new TV station, Lamprou intercepts the signal and instead of the station’s logo, the guests watch on a giant screen their wives making whoopie. Embarrassment is followed by rage. The word “Scandal!” is on everyone’s lips. After a series of divorces, all the characters of the drama somehow manage to get their lives back on track. And Lambrou writes a best-selling novel using the stories of the people involved.
